Pack
Pick a Genesis pack. Each kind has a set number of cards and set guarantees.

Preparing
Once payment is confirmed, the pack shows as Preparing while its cards are issued to your account.

Ready to reveal
When its cards are issued and checked, the pack is Ready to reveal. Open it when you like.

Reveal
The reveal shows cards that were already decided. It presents the result; it does not pick it.

Binder
Your cards join your Binder, sorted by family, with parallels on a separate shelf.
The collection
The Genesis set.
Genesis is the first Scorch series. Its base set is 50 cards across 5 families:
- Base20 cards

Every base card is open edition — no cap and no serial number — so no card the set needs can sell out. Completing Genesis means collecting all 50 base cards.
Parallels are alternate versions of a base card, serial-numbered in capped editions. They are the chase, and they sit on a separate shelf in your Binder rather than counting toward completion:

Recipes
Duplicates with a job.
Pulled a base card you already have? Recipes are how duplicates turn into progress. A Recipe exchanges base cards you have for a specific base card you are missing — or, once your set is complete, for a cosmetic reward. The result is fixed and shown before you confirm: never a random pack, never a mystery box. Serial-numbered parallels never go into a Recipe.
Recipes are part of the Genesis experience and will be available when Genesis opens.
Public proof
Built around public proof.
Before a pack is opened, its contents are fixed and recorded, tied to a future round of a public randomness beacon that Scorch does not run. Opening the pack shows that result — it does not choose it. Every pack you open has a details page listing what was committed for it, and when.
We are specific about what that does and does not prove yet. The Proof page sets out what is published today and what is not.
Giveaways
Promotions are separate from the collection.
Scorch may run promotional giveaways alongside the card experience. The cards are the product, and each promotion is governed by its Official Rules.
